01 | Definition of BJD

02 | How to buy a BJD doll

When placing an order some BJD studios can choose official pictures on the makeup, wigs, clothing, and other accessories, all require additional payment. Special skin tones such as burned muscle, gray muscle, ฯลฯ. generally also need to pay additional color mixing fees.
If you choose a naked doll, you will get a well-assembled doll with a head plate, official box, official pad, birth certificate, with no makeup, wig, eyes, or clothes.
Some studios may not have a head plate or not one of these. Pirated versions generally have nothing or only shoddy imitation.
Generally, you do not need to stretch their tendons on your own. The production period after the order is placed:

Because of the long production time, some doll studios and agents will require full payment and confirmation before starting production, some only need to pay and confirm the deposit, and then pay the balance when the goods appear.
There are also some dolls on a stock without confirmation that can be shipped. You can read the booking page in detail, as long as the official studios and agents generally will not have problems.
There are also some doll artists who make their own clay mold and turn the mold of the BJD doll head and the whole body. Because the higher cost generally limits the time and number of sales, not regularly able to order, and may also need to confirm the deposit in advance.
The quality and after-sales of pirated versions are not guaranteed. They use poor quality resin, shrinkage is larger, and getting yellow faster. Experienced BJD fans can recognize it at a glance, do not buy it!
